Show moreIndia’s huge and growing population is putting severe strain on all of the country’s natural resources. Most water sources are used on a domestic, industrial and agricultural basis. The quality of the water used is presumed to be the major problem that the people face, but the real problem is the quantity of water supplied. Quite a few organizations have been engaged with supplying drinking water to the community, but still not enough to address the needs of all the different sectors of the community, especially irrigation. In order to increase the availability of water to the people, it is necessary that the people have alternative means of supply of water, and a strong sense of the value of water.
