The exhibit, organized by the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, in conjunction with the Busch-Reisinger Museum of Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, opened on May 18, 1953 in the Metallurgy and Chemical Engineering building on IIT's campus, and ran until June 15.
