The building, built in 1920s, originally housed the Huber and Huber Motor Express trucking terminal. The building was acquired by the Armour Research Foundation in 1949, and renovated in the 1950s. It housed various ARF activities in the subsequent decades, including Physics and Chemistry research, before housing the Institute for Psychological Services in the years immediately prior to its demolition in 1975.
