<dc:description>Digitized 7" open reel-to-reel tape recording of the Illinois Institute of Technology's School of Architecture and Planning faculty meeting, 1970. The meeting was opened with an unidentified person (possibly George Danforth, chairman of Architecture or Dr. Antonis Tritsis) reading the statement by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (as director of the Armour Institute of Technology department of architecture) published in the 1939-1940 AIT Bulletin (academic catalog) identifying the philosophy and content of the 5-year architecture course. The IIT architecture curriculum is discussed before meeting begins.</dc:description>
