Perform an in-depth analysis of all aspects of implementing the selected CO2 mitigation technology from the sponsor by researching methods of sequestration and designing CO2 removal equipment with the assistance of MATLAB models of the power plant and Hysys models of the CO2 removal equipment. Provide a thorough economic analysis in order to assess the impact on power generation cost. This will include determination of capital costs for the operation and construction of CO2 removal and sequestering equipment to the existing power plant.
