In exploring design ideas, for the game, the team will have an opportunity to meet and confer with wheelchair bound students who this past summer successfully completed a path-breaking hike on a rugged trail in the White Mountains of New Hampshire (New York Times, August 12, 2000, p. A1). The IPRO team will work on developing computer animation models of possible scenarios for the game. This IPRO combines analysis of needs and interests of mobility-impaired individuals from perspectives of the human and social sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.) with developing ideas about how to address those needs in a meaningful way through a computer game (design, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, etc.) Show less
