Schillaci, Michael Daniel Ferguson (SSB) Assistive Technology Visual Impairment Swimming Technology This objective of this IPRO is to develop devices to aid visually impaired persons swim. The team has chosen to work on two separate devices to accomplish this task. One approach is to use a passive device, which is located in the pool, to guide the swimmers through the lane. A picture of the latest version of the device is pictured below in figure 1 with several key features identified.
