ILLINOIS INSTITUTE I// OF TECHNOLOGY What issues do you plan to solve, and how do you plan on approaching these matters? I would like to work on improv- ing security for students around cam- pus. I have heard concerns from several students and would like to receive more feedback from others; develop possible solutions and give recommendations to Darius Piscikas 3rd Year Armour College of Engineering the security officers. I am also interested to improve students’ spirit at IIT. I would like to get more students involved around campus and see more happy faces by in- viting them to various campus events and activities, making their student life more interesting and fulfilling, showing oppor- tunities where they can be involved and helping them find their niche. What issues do you plan to solve, and how do you plan on approaching these matters? I want to continue the campaign 100 and to make architecture students more involved, so I’ll go to the first coun- Fernando Mier 5th Year College of Architecture cil meeting and have a general body meet- ing with AIAs and Arquitectos (along as College of Architecture) students to pro- mote the awesome opportunities we have at IIT. Kevin Roemer 2nd Year School of Applied Technology Why do you want to be an SGA Senator? To me it is very important to be involved in campus activities, particu- larly with the student governing body. Not only is it something that I enjoy, it is something that I can be apart of to work towards the greater good of the cam- pus and the surrounding community. I What issues do you plan to solve, and how do you plan on approaching these matters? I want to be the voice and the figure of my college. I have always be- lieved in “be the change you wish to see in the world”; as a representative of my college, I want to be the facilitator of any Madhushree Ghosh 3rd Year Armour College of Engineering change that will make IIT a better place for each and every member of the Illinois Tech community. In the last two years, I have been witness to a number of things that have changed for the better at IIT and not only has that impressed me, but also inspired me to work for more such posi- tive and transforming changes. would also like to get to know all of the administrators at IIT to further develop my personal social network, after all we are the “liaison” to the student from the admins. Plus the whole experience is just fun. Sheng I-Iao Koo 2nd Year School of Applied Technology Why do you want to be an SGA Senator? I am always seeking for opportunity to help others. Being an SGA Senator accomodates for both my desires of improving myself while help- ing others out as well. I am still quite new in IIT so I hope I am given the opportu- nity to explore and serve the students as much as I can. I am a person who is very active in extra-curricular activities and hence the interest in being part of the IIT SGA.
