It’s sald so much that It seems to
almost be considered public knowledge by
students many talk of HTS stellar academr
lCSi but every time they do they also menr
tion how 11T seems dead and that the qualr
ity of life is low Still to this day many quote
an out of date article which rated HT as one
of the most depressing campuses in America

The irony of all this is that even
though many students swear by these state
mentsi these statements and ideas couldn’t
be further from the truth Almost every day
a different student orgmzatlon is hosting an
event and almost every night people are hang
ing out and having a great time on campus

Right now 1% ofthe students at HT
arehaving99%otthetuniandit’stimeto change
that It’s time for every single HT student to
have fun It’s time to turn the 1% into the 100%

As you read this article a multlr
tude of student orgmzatlons are coming to
gether and kicking off the 1(oo)% Campaign

The idea of this campaign is to show the HT
student body the plethora of activities for
them to take advantage oh and drive home
the fact that no matter your hobby and no
matter what you are interested mi there is an
orgmzatlon that you can become a part of

all the events and activities that are part of
the 1(oo)% Campaign The website will also
have descriptions and contact Info for the
many orgmzatlons at11T The 1(oo)% Came
paiga will culminate with a massive lockin
that is being held in The BOG on March 30

The fact of the matter ls that HT
is a vibrant community and a place where
everyone can have a lot of fun All we need
to do is break the stigma of being a bore
ing school by getting out and having a good
tlme We all Contrlbute t0 the Student AC7
tivities Fund that funds all of these aCthlr
tlesi so getting involved insures return on
investment for the dollars that you put forth

We can all have an awesome time
at 1111 so let’s seize the day get out have a
good tlmei and stop making people think
that we are a ton of boring class zombies
