Join the IIT Presidential Inauguration Celebration Please remember to join IIT for the Inauguration of Alan W. Cramb L as the ninth president of Illinois Institute of Technology. Wear your spirit wear and gather along Footlik Lane (west of State Street) beginning at 2 pm. to watch the processional. Then view the formal ceremony from 3-4:30 p.m. in Hermann Hall or via livestream. Afterward, join faculty and staff for a reception in Hermann Hall featuring free food, free t—shirts, giveaways, a photo booth, and more. This event is the kickoff to Homecoming Weekend, September 18—19. The university is canceling all classes after 1 pm. on Friday, September 18, 2015 so that students may attend the festivities.
