Afternoon classes canceled for IIT Presidential Inauguration Please join III in celebrating the Inauguration ofAlan W. Cramh as the ninth president of Illinois Institute of Technology. Inauguration ceremonies are a rare occasion, so IIT is canceling all classes after 1 pm. on Friday, September 18, 2015 in order to allow students to attend the festivities. Beginning at 2 pm, wear your spirit wear and gather along Footh'k Lane (west of State Street) to watch the processional. Then view the formal ceremony from 3-4:30 pm. in Hermann Hall or via livestream. Afterward, join faculty and staff for a reception in Hermann Hall featuring free food, free t—shirts, giveaways, a photo booth, and more.
