Union Courtesies A little over a month ago a set of rules were printed in the TECH NEWS pertaining to student conduct in the Student Union, The student body as a whole has responded whole heartedly to these rules, but a careless few, however. have violated them. The school lunchroom handles over eight hundred persons with a seating capacity of about three hun~ dred. The congestion between the hours of l l :30 am. and 1 pm. has been getting steadily worse. The only sensible solution to this problem is to have everyone eat his lunch and leave the dining room when through. Rule 2 under the section “The Dining Hall" specifically states that “card playing or studying in the dining room is PROHlBlTED from ll 20 am. to l pm. daily," Some of the thought- less iew haven't conformed, with congestion being the result. By observing this rule the dining room can handle the student body without the unneces. sary crowding prevalent at the present time. ln addition to the published rules several court. teszes should be observed ll has been frequently noticed that a number of students have lett their Since the checkroom is sit» The Slipstieit l Cleave to the slipsticlt: let l the slapstick lly where it may. l 7 l Si ‘ 'itmwnmmwmommm ll'i‘ iulrv grout )ili’thllH’ iii (illilUiUH'-] {Hg (1 Hiring/v iii lioliry ii) this column.
